Asus Eee PC 900A Review
The Asus Eee PC 900A is one of those tiny netbook that you just dont really see around anymore, i.e. those 8.9 inch netbooks. It seems most people have moved onto the 10 and 11 inch netbooks, but there is still a place for the smaller ones, especially for frequent travellers and students.
The memory and battery are quite poor, with 12GB/20GB and 3 hrs respectively. Why the confusion with the storage amounts. Well it depends whether you get the Windows or Linux version. The Linux has 20Gb, while the Windows XP version has 12GB. However, the price says it all. you can often pick up a 900A eee pc for less than £200, which is rediculous. Plus the luittle guy weighs less than a kg, so will fit anywhere.
The 900A is simialr to the Asus 701SD, however it does have multi-touch support (for scrolling and zooming).
The Asus Eee PC 900A is a good buy if this is your secondary machine. It is highly portable, looks decent and internet access is pretty good. Not bad for £200.
