Asus Eee PC 901 Review
The Asus Eee PC 901 is the first upgrade to the original Asus Eee PC netbook that started the entire netbook craze. This particular netbook comes with a Linux OS, but also comes in a Microsoft Office version. The screen is a tiny 8.9 inches, which makes the Asus Eee PC 901 extremely portable. The 901 Asus actually looks very similar to the original, excelt for a larger screen, and the built quality seems higher as well (it feels remarkably solid).
The keyboard is very small and compact, and this will take some getting use to, with fast typing neing quite difficult. It is recommended that if you are going to use the Asus Eee PC 901 as your primary PC, then you should get an external full-size keyboard.
There is 20GB of storage, which will be sufficient for most people’s needs. The Asus Eeepc 901 operates well and internet connection is fast. Overall it is a good little netbook. Asus have however already improved on this with the Asus 1000 range, which are slightly larger. But if you are looking for an extremely portable netbook, with a decent spec, then the Asus Eee PC 901 would be a good bet.
