HP 2133 Mini-Note Review

The HP 2133 Mini-Note is one of the pricier netbooks on the market. Prices do vary quite considerably, and of course this is dependant on the spec available. The Mini-Note looks great with its brushed aluminium and plastic casing, and has a very professional appeal. The screen is a tiny 8.9 inches, but HP have still managed to put a keyboard that is 92% the size of a typical laptop in it. This makes it easier to get use to, and typing at full speed is a breeze. The keyboard also feels solid and robust to the touch, and the keys have a silver finish. The touchpad is also a decent size, but the mouse keys are on either side of it instead of belowm which does take some getting use to. There is also a little button above the touchpad that turns it on or off, such as when you are typing.
A point to note is that build quality is excellent.

We have heard reports that the HP 2133 Mini-Note gets quite hot after an hour of continuous use, and that the fan doesnt work that well.
This HP is one of the most expensive netbooks on the market, but wow it looks fantastic. It does run a little hot, but for its sheer portability and aesthetics, it is a good option.
