Samsung NC20 Review
The Samsung NC20 is one of the newer Netbooks to come out from Samsung, and is the ‘upgrade’ from the Samsung NC10 Netbook. At £380 is is one of the most expensive Netbooks we have reviewed. It has a massive (in netbook terms) 12 inch screen. Size-wise the Samsung NC 20 measures 292×217×31 and weighs 1.5 kg. The keyboard is also large and very easy to get used to, with the touchpad at its base and the mousekeys placed conveniently around it. It comes in white and, in typical Samsung style, has a glossy finish (great for picking up dust and finger prints).
The main feature of the Samsung NC20 is the Via Nano processor. This is said to be even faster and more powerful than the Intel Atom, but does use a little more battery to do so. The programs load very fast and connecting to the internet is seamless.
What samsung have done here is create a product that fits snugly between Netbooks and traditional Laptops, in processing power, screen size and price. The Samsung NC20 is a high-spec Netbook and if you have the budget and want a Netbook with a little more Oomf, then this would be a good buy.

As an NC10 owner I was initially dismissive of the NC20 but the more I read about it the more I find myself wanting one lol! I think the attraction for me is the style and design, the extra size would be useful for sure. It probably doesn’t offer much more in terms of power and usability over the NC10.
