Disney Netbook

There have been a few rumours floating around at Computex 2009. The one that we find quite interesting is that Disney is considering developing a netbook targetting children. We spoke last week about the new Dell Latitude 2000 range of netbooks that are made for kids, but these are more in terms of the eduction market. It looks like Disney would be doing it more as a marketing opportunity. Most likely they will partner with Asus, Acer etc., and just brand a rather standard netbook. However instead of just putting a disney logo on the netbook, they may actually customise the interface as well with disney characters and icons etc.

Only time will tell firstly which manufacturer Disney partner with, and secondly…just how customised the netbook really is.
