With the massive growth in netbook sales over the past year and a half, and a target of 35 million to be sold this year, many companies are trying to get into the market by producing various peripherals to be used with netbooks.
Microsoft have decided to join the show and have made a mouse specifically for netbooks. It is called a Microsoft 4000 Netbook mouse, and as you can see above, the 4000 comines in a multitude of lively and bright colours.

The Wireless 4000 will use Microsoft’s Bluetrack technology, which means it will work on almost any surface except for glass, and it is also resistant to dust and dirt.
At the moment it seems the 4000 might only be available in the US and will sell for around $40.

The thing is there are already quite a few small wireless mice around, so why would you pay such a premium for this? Personally I dont know.
